Catriona's smoky quartz and blue zircon engagement ring
Igor and Catriona have been together for 13 years and lived in many different countries during that time. The couple decided to get engaged and wanted to commission a unique ring that captured the design brief “Better Together”. The engagement ring brings together their unique features with a blue zircon to symbolise Catriona’s eyes and a brown smoky quartz for Igor’s. Pear cut stones were chosen as they fit together so perfectly and when they became the focal point of the design the metal could be formed around them to create an abstract seahorse shape. The couple were keen to include seahorse inspiration as Igor worked as a scuba diving instructor and Catriona loves horses! A ripple and satin finish further enhances the unique shaping of the design.
