Annick's palladium, diamond and sapphire engagement ring
Annick and Matthew plan to marry in the beautiful location of the Isle of Harris which is in the Western Isles of Scotland where they have visited together for many years. Annick wanted a very contemporary ring with lots of sparkle which would encapsulate both a wedding band and an engagement ring in one. She knew she wanted to incorporate purple stones into the design because of the purple flowers that bloom in Scotland during certain points of the year and these round purple sapphires are the perfect colour. The textures of the landscape were also conveyed through the palladium design with a hammered and satinised finish.
