Faye's Fitted Cage Wedding Ring With A Blue Colour Fade
Faye wanted an open cage style wedding band to fit securely around her bespoke engagement ring. Using 9 carat white gold the wedding band is designed as an addition to the engagement ring, rather than two separate pieces, ultimately creating a striking bridal set. Faye loved the idea of setting stones into the band and visualised using the same deep blue sapphires that appear in her engagement ring. To help blend the new design into the old, a blue colour fade of aquamarine and sapphires was used. Fading from light in the centre to darker down the shoulders, this use of colour helped keep her central diamond the main focal point of the designs. The round brilliant cut stones are held in a scallop style setting which helps them nestle into the band which is finished with a bright polish.
