Rebecca's flame inspired diamond and garnet engagement ring
Iain got in touch to commission a bespoke engagement ring for Rebecca which reflected her career as an artist. He told us about her work as a sculptor and the mesmerising flames that are produced as she forms each creation. We decided flames and fire would be a fitting inspiration for her engagement ring. The final design involves intricate metal work to create a striking flame-like shape in 9 carat rose gold. The organic shaping of the rose gold metalwork sweeps around a 0.35ct pear cut diamond to create flowing lines and movement to mimic the flames. The design features a row of dark red garnets around one side of the stone which emphasises the shape of the flickering fire and gives the ring a unique asymmetric design.
