Helen's rose gold and green sapphire engagement ring
Helen and Rob came in to the studio to design Helen's bespoke engagement ring together. Helen loved the idea of combining diamond, green sapphire and rose gold and wanted her engagement ring to feature these. They both liked a twisting design so chose to have an overlay detail that curled all the way round the setting of her central stone. After initially looking at diamonds for the central stone, Helen fell in love with a stunning 1.13ct rose cut green sapphire that was 6.19mm in diameter, this would make a stunning centre piece for her ring. Helen chose a six claw setting to make the sapphire lovely and secure and decided to add a bit of sparkle to the overlay detail in the form of two brilliant cut diamonds pave set in to the metal with some really pretty graining detail. They chose Fairtrade 18ct rose gold as they loved how choosing this metal would really help the Fairtrade miners in South America, as South America was where Rob had proposed to Helen.
