Zoe's diamond solitaire Engagement Ring
Nikki’s partner Zoe had previously surprised her with an engagement ring, so Nikki decided to surprise her in return. As Zoe had delicate fingers Nikki didn’t want a ring that would be too wide on Zoe’s finger. She also loved the idea of a tension style setting. We explored different options for a tension style setting as it was important that the stone would be nice and secure, Nikki decided she loved the idea of having a split ring where the diamond was tension style set in the middle of the bands, with a collar behind it to keep the stone secure. Nikki chose a 4.5mm wide band to allow the 0.11ct G-H VS1-2 diamond to sit securely in the middle. Nikki chose palladium as this was the metal her ring was made from and she wanted the two to match.
