commissioned engagement ring with oval diamond and pink rubies
This elegant 18ct gold ring holds a beautiful 0.61cts Oval diamond in a setting with scooped out flat slim discrete claws. Jennifer loves the colour of yellow gold and wanted the ring to be made from this but was worried about the contrast of yellow gold against the strong pink rubies. She loved the star setting idea and so we subtly worked a small amount of white gold into the design just around the rubies themselves and star set the pink stones so that the gold is white just next to these. The effect is striking and beautiful and just a little bit different.
