Ramona's asymmetrical princess cut engagement ring

Valentin wanted to create a bespoke engagement ring for Ramona. Valentin knew that Ramona didn't want a traditional round brilliant cut diamond, as Ramona likes straight lines and linear designs. A central Princess cut diamond was selected and the ring was constructed in crisp white palladium. To add visual interest a further two princess cut sapphires were added, one 0.09ct Ceylon blue sapphire and one 0.06ct deep blue sapphire to add Ramona's favourite colour in a colour fade. The sapphires were added to one side of the central princess cut diamond to make an asymmetrical stepping down detail. On the opposite side of the ring, cube details were added to add balance and following the stepping down in scale pattern. This creates an asymmetrical stone set ring but symmetrical in form and shape. The ring was finished In a combination of satin and polished finish to highlight the varying stepping down detail.
