Caroline's sapphire and Fairtrade white gold dress ring
Caroline and Chris wanted to create a dress ring using their own 1.16ct cushion cut blue sapphire that they purchased whilst on a holiday in Sri Lanka. The sapphire was to be the main feature of the new dress ring with the addition of stones on the shoulders of the band. The sapphire was set in an all round setting in Fairtrade 9 Carat white gold to really bring out the deep blue hue and tones. Two 2mm princess cut diamonds totalling 0.10ct were invisibly set into each shoulder either side. The 4mm wide band had a flat profile with a gentle curve with a polished finish. This created the perfect dress ring that reminded them of their time in Sri Lanka.
