Grace's palladium, diamond and aquamarine engagement ring
Peter wanted to commission a bespoke engagement ring for his partner Grace, inspired by a ‘G’ necklace that she wore. It was important that Grace’s ring was practical enough for her sporty lifestyle so the central diamond has been all around set in a curl overlay which forms an abstract ‘g’ shape. The curl forms across the front of the band to hold an aquamarine. The colour was very important to Peter as he knew Grace loved to use pale blue and green hues within interior design and this is reflected beautifully within the gemstone. To balance the design, another aquamarine has been invisibly set within the palladium band. An accent of 9 carat yellow gold has been incorporated by adding a yellow gold flick to the traditional ‘g’ shape.
