David and Tracy's matching gold and palladium wedding rings.
Tracy and David wanted to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary by redesigning their wedding rings that were wearing thin. Both Tracy and David wanted to use their 9ct yellow gold wedding rings with palladium to match Tracey’s new engagement ring however using the yellow gold to create a feature on their new wedding rings. Tracy and David like wider wedding rings so David chose a 6mm width and Tracy preferred a slightly narrow band so went with the 5mm wide ring. They were fond of the profile that their current wedding rings were so we kept with a lovely courting profile which made their wide rings comfortable to wear. Whilst we looked through previous commissions both David and Tracy were drawn to the rings which had overlay so we decided to use their yellow gold wedding rings and create a wave overlay on top of their new palladium wedding rings. To finish off their rings we decided it would be a lovely idea to recreate the cross engraved lines on the outer rim of their wedding rings which they were originally drawn to when they purchased their original wedding rings.
