Michelle's Fairtrade 18 carat white gold dress ring with tourmaline

Michelle wanted to commission a ring to represent her daughter Ruby so there was an obvious choice when it came to selecting a gemstone. However, Michelle preferred the colour of a striking rich red tourmaline in a cushion/oval shape. To protect the stone yet also to be able to see its beautiful cut, the tourmaline has been end only set. It is framed by two round brilliant cut diamonds in square all around settings. The creaminess of Fairtrade 18 carat white gold was the perfect metal choice to complement the beautiful red gemstone.
