Nicole's uncut octahedral diamond engagement ring
Zoltan wanted to surprise Nicole with a very special engagement ring. Zoltan is a University scientist, specialising in minerals, and he decided that he didn’t want a ‘standard’ cut diamond. Zoltan loved the idea of an uncut octahedral diamond held within a twist to show off the diamond in all its uncut beauty. We sourced a selection of beautiful diamonds for him to view and he chose this 1.13ct uncut diamond. The palladium band was specially created for the unique shape of the stone. The diamond is set with twisting arms that support the diamond but allow the diamond to catch as much light as possible and exposes the diamond as much so every side can be observed. The Palladium band is flat with a gentle cure and has a 2.5mm width so not to distract from the natural beauty of octahedral uncut diamond.
