Emily's 3.69ct marquise cut diamond dress ring
Emily inherited a beautiful antique engagement and wedding ring from her grandmother but she found the design difficult to wear day to day. To create something modern and wearable Emily came to our Cambridge studio to make use of redmodelling service and we redesigned the dress ring around the original stone. The 3.69ct 15.3x8.2mm marquise cut diamond has been all around set into a handmade palladium setting which goes across the finger for a modern and dramatic look. Each side of the setting has a cut out window to exhibit the points of the diamond. The delicate 3mm palladium band ensures the focus of the design remains on the striking stone. The essence of Emily's grandmother's ring remains, yet this new design makes the dramatic ring wearable and practical.
