Naherin's re-designed 1.60ct sapphire engagement ring
Naherin wanted her engagement ring to be re-designed so it was more in keeping with her style but also incorporated the 1.60 carat cushion cut blue sapphire in her original ring. She loved the idea of blue and gold together so the ring has been made using 18 carat yellow gold. The delicate 2mm wide band deepens towards the beautiful stone which has been set in a stylised collet with lots of openings, a curved profile and spiked claws. For extra sparkle a 1mm brilliant cut G/H VS diamond has been square set on each shoulder. To complete the design, a satinised finish has been used to complement the rich gold.
