Nicola's yellow gold and palladium Danish design inspired dress ring
Kevin and Nicola commissioned their engagement and wedding rings from us some years ago and they wanted to create a new ring to celebrate their ten year wedding anniversary. Nicola inherited her parents' wedding and engagement ring set and was keen to use both the gold and the diamond in her new ring. Her mother had Scandinavian heritage and so Nicola wanted the design to be influenced by the dynamic flowing lines often found in simple Danish design. The bespoke handmade 9 carat yellow gold design features an asymmetric split shoulder with arms which curve and wrap around the stone setting. At the centre of the design is Nicola's 4mm old cut I-J Si2-PK1 diamond (0.29 ct). The setting itself was made in palladium to create a contrasting feature within the design.
