Sophie's palladium and 0.71ct H Si2 diamond engagement ring
Mike was planning a very romantic proposal under the Christmas lights on Sloane Square so he wanted to commission an engagement ring that would always remind Sophie of the twinkling setting. To capture the sparkle of the lights, he chose a 0.71ct princess cut GIA certificated H Si2 diamond which has been set in four claws to reveal as much of the stone as possible. Four 1mm brilliant cut H Si diamonds (0.02ct) have been invisibly set along the shoulders of the band. The apex profile means that these diamonds are set at an angle so Sophie will always see them when she wears the ring but other people may not unless she shows them! The small split in the band leads the band out to the corners of the central diamond, giving the ring a smooth feel.
