Charlie's structure of gold inspired engagement ring
James wanted Charlie's engagement ring to reflect her role as a material scientist. He gathered examples of Charlie's sketches of the structure of gold from which we could draw inspiration. At the centre of the unique final design is a 0.25 carat 4.05mm GSI 1 brilliant cut diamond. The varying sized purple sapphires (totalling 0.11 ct) match the colour of the new material Charlie has been developing in her work. The 9 carat rose gold complements the stones beautifully.
