David's melody inspired wedding ring

David is a musician and Lisa is a visual artist so when it came to designing their wedding rings they knew they wanted to work with a bespoke designer. They already had some ideas formed and they wanted to base the design on melody of Gustav Mahler’s Adagietto. We decided to use a combination of pink sapphires, rubies and diamond to represent the notes of the melody with the paler colours representing the soft notes and the deep red representing the more exaggerated notes. David’s ring has the stones set on the inside of his 6mm wide band so they remain a personal secret part of the design for him. The outside of the band has been lightly hammered and polished to match the finish on Lisa’s ring.
