Vintage style platinum and 0.51ct diamond solitaire
This vintage style one-off design was inspired by a style of claw setting which was particularly popular in the 1940s. The claw detail gives the round stone a squarer appearance and this detail is continued onto the band. The claws have been expertly shaped to give a very delicate feel, with the setting opening up into a scoop at the sides. The diamond is a stunning 0.51ct brilliant cut HSi1/2 stone. The platinum band is very delicate with a very gently curved profile which suits the style of this piece.
