Sarah's diamond cluster engagement ring

Sarah loved the idea of a cluster engagement ring. She wanted diamonds set all the way round her central stone to add lots of lovely sparkle and so we chose ten 1.5mm brilliant cut diamonds. Sarah was unsure of what central stone to go for, but she knew she wanted a clear stone in the centre, however she wasn’t sure if a moonstone or a diamond would suit her best. She decided on a central 4.1mm brilliant cut H Si diamond as it is a harder stone and has lots of sparkle. Sarah loved the idea of a claw style setting, so chose a basket style cluster with lots of pretty detail in the setting. She decided on a split shoulder detail to compliment the basket style setting and so her ring would look delicate from the side view. For the band she decided on 9ct yellow gold as she wanted a traditional feel to her ring, which is why she combined it with a palladium setting to have a classic mixed metal style of a white setting and a yellow band. Wanting her ring to be delicate, she went for a slim 2mm tapering band with a curved profile to continue the classic style. To finish her ring, she went for a beautiful highly polish, to compliment her sparkly diamonds.
