Nathalie's asymmetric engagement and wedding ring set
The design of Nathalie's engagement ring was influenced by a ring that belonged to her mother. Although the original ring was yellow gold and symmetrical, this ring was to be much more organic. The split detail of the original design has been retained and the very same diamond has maintained its central position. A yellow sapphire and a topaz have been added to make a total of three stones in recognition of the three people in Nathalie's family-her future husband and his two daughters. She felt that the contrasting colours of the blue and yellow were representative of the fire and ice in their personalities, a sentiment that is also echoed in the colours of the platinum and yellow gold. We were able to reuse metal from their existing rings to make this beautiful new set, making this design even more special. The wedding ring also incorporates both yellow gold and platinum, highlighting the curves and colours of the engagement ring.
