David's hammered and oxidised wedding ring

David loved the idea of designing his own bespoke wedding ring as he wanted something unique that was rough in texture. David wanted a softer metal so that as he wore his wedding ring it would reveal every scratch and mark, almost like a diary recording everything. The Sterling silver band has been given a heavy hammered finish that has been oxidised to give the ring a black finish. As David wears the ring over time the black will wear off and the silver will tarnish, forever changing the appearance of the ring.
