Rhona's London blue topaz and diamond ocean inspired engagement ring
Rhona and Matthew visited the studio with lots of great ideas - Rhona had even drawn some great sketches of her ideal designs and so we gradually built up a design including all of her favourite elements. The final design however was in the hands of Matthew, who selected the beautiful 0.61ct London blue topaz and finalised the shaping in the design. The small diamond was one of Rhona's from a family ring and so it was great to be able to include something with lots of sentimental value in a new modern design. The overall design was ocean inspired including a beautiful wave hand crafted in palladium by our goldsmith, Ryan. The cool colour of the palladium works brilliantly with the blue of the topaz.
