Ed's co-ordinating Palladium and Sapphire wedding ring.
Ed and Caroline commissioned a wedding ring for Caroline with a flowing wave style to fit with her engagement ring. They returned to the Cambridge studio to create a wedding ring for Ed that would complement this flowing design. In order to achieve this, we presented Ed with the possibilities of using engraving or a shaped ring. However, we then came up with the idea of creating a straight, plain palladium band but with an overlay detail of the same outline shape of Caroline's ring. Caroline's ring has an invisibly set purple sapphire so we also used this design element in Ed's ring. The contrasting polished and satinised finishes highlight the two layers of this unique wedding ring.
