Margaret's diamond and yellow gold ring with engraving
Margaret inherited a diamond and 18ct yellow gold ring from her aunty however; she wanted to change the design to make it something she could wear on a daily basis. She loved Art Nouveau and wanted to incorporate an aspect of this in to the design. After seeing some engraved rings in the studio she decided she wanted to utilise this and went for a lovely Art Nouveau inspired pattern engraving on the band and the setting. Margaret decided to use the current 18ct yellow gold band she had and add a new all around modern style setting to hold her diamond. Because she wanted to be able to have a ring that she could wear every day, this setting works really well because it's not set too high. She decided to go for a lovely highly polished finish, to finish off her beautiful ring.
