William Morris inspired diamond engagement ring
Jessica loves William Morris motifs, so Jamie thought it was important to incorporate an aspect of the artist's style into an engagement ring design. The central 4.09mm H Si brilliant cut diamond (0.30cts)adds an element of tradition and is held in a four claw setting. Two pear cut 4x3mm amethysts (totalling 0.30cts)reference Jessica's love of the colour purple and are set either side of the central diamond. The floral theme associated with intricate Morris designs has been incorporated using leaf and curl metal overlay details, which also curl up to hold the amethysts securely. Drawing upon nature as inspiration, as Morris did, designer Laurie completed the palladium ring with vine engraving on the band and a polished finish.
