David asked us to design a ring for Lucy incorporating her birthstone
David knew that Lucy would like a meaningful engagement ring, so he decided that her birthstone, sapphire, would make the perfect centerpiece. We knew Lucy would like a delicate and feminine design, so we chose a 5x3mm oval sapphire in a pretty blue, set in a delicate claw setting. The leaf details either side of the sapphire are reminiscent of Celtic design, while the graining adds a vintage feel. A 1mm brilliant cut HSi diamond is set centrally within each set of leaves, adding a little extra sparkle. The 2mm wide, gently courting profile band is plain on the outside and engraved with a double wave on the sides to add a classic feel.
