Kate's bespoke blue john and diamond engagement ring
Ashley and Kate wanted to draw upon Kate's heritage during the design of her engagement ring. As Kate is originally from Derbyshire, she loved the idea of using blue john as it is mined in Castleton. Together we designed an asymmetric palladium ring, with a central blue john stone set in an all around setting. The design also includes twisting shoulder detail and six 1.5mm brilliant cut HiS diamonds, pave set on opposite shoulders. The ring has a warm satinised finish to compliment the tones of the blue john and accentuate the sparkle of the stone.
