Madeline's dress ring in fairtrade gold with a fairly traded ruby
Madeline and Alan wanted to design the perfect ring to celebrate their ruby anniversary together. Both Alan and Madeline are very passionate about fairtrade which is something we are really proud to offer. After sitting with our Cambridge designer Tom, talking through some different design options and drawing up the perfect design, we created this unique mixed metal dress ring all in Fairtrade gold as it guarantees that it goes towards supporting the miners and their communities. The central feature of this one off piece is the fairly-traded, large cabochon cut Ruby, held in a rose gold all around setting. The setting complements the warmth of the ruby and contrasts well with the white gold base plate that is also framed by a second rose gold circle. They have chosen to have the D shaped band made in yellow gold to complete the unique look of this bespoke ring. Alan and Madeline have chosen every aspect of the ring to make a stunning peace that is unique to them and something that they can enjoy and cherish every day.
