Celeste's yellow gold square dress ring
Celeste had been given lots of different pieces of jewellery by her Mother, to either enjoy wearing or to create a new piece of jewellery. Celeste wanted to combine these into a single piece that she would be able to wear that represented the original jewellery. She wanted her ring to be entirely different to other designs she had seen, she therefore chose a square shape over the traditional round design to make her ring stand out. This unusual shaped ring holds a 0.61ct cabochon synthetic blue sapphire that reveals a star shape within the stone when caught in the right light in an all around setting. This feature has been off-centred in the design, drawing the eye across the satinised band. The ring is has a really dramatic feel, with the deep blue contrasting with the richness of the yellow gold creating a truly unique and very personal design.
