Dramatic 2.64ct green tourmaline, diamond and Fairtrade 9ct white gold engagement ring
This 9ct white gold engagement ring is a real statement piece. The idea was to combine the warmth of natural un-rhodium plated Fairtrade white gold with the beautiful deep green shades of the central oval 2.64 carat mossy green tourmaline. Four 2mm brilliant cut diamonds (which total 0.28 carats) have been channel set into each shoulder, which serve to add extra sparkle as well as lead the eye towards the central tourmaline.
We were keen to use Fairtrade white gold for this design because of its ethical credentials. For technical reasons the design was created using CAD technology which allowed for this choice of metal to be used.
