Hannah's Dorset inspired palladium and engagement ring

Simon and Hannah met at Birmingham University and share a love for art and design. Simon had lots of great ideas for a bespoke engagement ring and he wanted to incorporate elements of their life and loves into the design. The inspiration for the design came from two places that are very special to them - the beautiful cliffs of Dorset, together with the Bull ring in Birmingham! Hannah's job as an ecologist led him to look at bats as an inspiration for the band and in particular the shape of their wings. The finished result has these ideas subtly entwined into a modern and dramatic design that reminds them of their life together. The engagement ring has been handmade in palladium with a deepening band. At the centre of the design is a brilliant round cut G/HSI diamond (0.16cts) with graduating hole detail, each one representing the years since the couple met. A 1.2mm brilliant cut blue sapphire and a 1.2mm brilliant cut green tourmaline have been set on opposite sides of the band. A highly polished finish completes this unique design.
