Peter and Simon's yellow gold and diamond dress rings
Peter and Simon visited the studio wanting to design very special matching rings. They had inherited a lovely yellow gold and diamond ring from their mother, and really wanted to use the gold and diamonds in a piece of jewellery for them both, that they would be able to enjoy and remember her by. The decided on a lovely 4mm wide ring, with a flat profile and a saw cut line to centre. This style is a real reflection of the modern angular design of their mother's ring. They both have three of their own ~2mm brilliant cut diamonds square grain set equally spaced around the ring. They decided on 9ct yellow gold, and had the ring melted down into both of their rings, and chose to have contrasting polish and tunstall finishes. The rings look great and really capture the essence of their mother's original ring.
