Claire's handmade platinum and tourmaline engagement ring
Rhett wanted to design the perfect ring for his partner Clarie, so decided to propose with a commission in a box, so that she could join in the exciting process of designing the ring. When they both visited the studio, they decided that they really wanted green to be the focus point of the ring, and decided on a beautiful 7x5mm 1.00ct emerald cut tourmaline, they loved the bright white colour of platinum, and chose a lovely four claw setting to hold the central stone. They wanted the design to have a traditional element, and incorporated 1.2mm, 1.5mm brilliant cut HSI diamonds within the shoulders, with a lovely 1.75mm brilliant cut green tourmaline in each side. The ring had a lovely high polished finish, really making the colour of the central stone pop out.
