Mahul wanted to surprise Sonali with her birthstone
Mahul wanted a bespoke engagement ring for Sonali that included her birthstone. This stunning 6x4mm emerald cut aquamarine is set in a four claw setting. A 1.5mm brilliant cut heat treated diamond, two pink sapphires and a 1.5mm brilliant cut diamond have been pave set in each shoulder of the ring. These diamonds are treated at a very high temperature and pressure to achieve this permanent colour change. Naturally occurring diamonds of this colour are very rare and expensive, so this treatment brings these coloured diamonds within reach. The highly polished platinum complements the sparkle beautifully.
