Nigel and Kathryn's Fairtrade wedding rings
Nigel and Kathyrn came to see me in Cambridge to design some really special wedding rings. They had a passion for Fairtrade gold and liked to combine metals together. Together we came up with these two rings. Nigel's ring has a base of Fairtrade 9ct rose gold with an overlaying twisting detail in Fairtrade 9ct white gold. The rose gold has a Tunstall finish while the twisting detail has a nice and shiny, polished finish. Kathryn's ring has been created with the white gold as the underlay instead with the rose gold twisting detail over the top to make their rings different but have clear similarities. Both of their rings are 4mm wide for the underlay while the overlay is 3mm wide.
