Angela's unique hand made dress ring
Angela visited the studio to discuss having a number of different items of jewellery that she had inherited made into one piece that should would be able to wear and enjoy. She wanted to incorporate the princess cut blue stone from a pendant that her husband had brought her for a wedding anniversary, but she didn't wear. Angela decided on a contemporary and modern design using her own mixture of gold. She designed a 9ct yellow gold ring, with a 3mm width widening an splitting towards the stone, which is held in an end only setting. The ring has a flat profile, and a high polished finish bringing the stone to life. Angela now has a ring that she can wear daily, but has the sentimental value of the items she chose to re-design.
