Penny's reworked mixed metal and diamond bangle
Penny wanted to combine several pieces of special jewellery into a new bangle. Most of the gold wasn't really suitable for re-using for different reasons, but we realised that although melting up her Mum's bangle wasn't an option we could add to it instead. We melted up her yellow gold rings and overlaid them on one side to create three stripes of yellow around one side of the white gold hinged bracelet, and then set her three diamonds into them. The white diamonds sparkle brightly in the yellow gold and the low profile of the stripes and the setting mean that the bangle will be easy to wear.
