9ct white gold and Sterling silver commissioned cufflinks
Graham wanted cufflinks to compliment the eternity ring Helen was also having made, so we invisibly set the same 1.5mm, brilliant cut H SI and heat-treated black diamonds, and engraved the same infinity symbol around them. These cufflinks are longer and thinner than normal (the satinised, 9ct white gold faces measure 18x9mm) giving a modern, crisp look. The hinge backs are Sterling silver. The treatment of these diamonds is a special process using state of the art technology to produce this beautiful and permanent colour change. Natural black diamonds like this would cost many thousands of pounds so this new technology makes this ring within reach! The treatment means that the ring must not be heated up to very high temperatures (eg by a jeweller during resizing of the ring) or cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner so special care needs to be taken when resizing this ring in the future and the stone must be carefully removed and re-set during any future resizing work.
