Maylis' Art Nouveau flower inspired earrings
Harriet was chatting to James at an exhibition and he mentioned that he would love to create a special set of jewellery for his wife inspired by the work of 20th Century French designer René Lalique. James wanted the ring and matching earrings to be "an explosion of colour and petals" and to reflect the Art Nouveau style with which Lalique was synonymous. The earrings echo the ring's dahlia inspired design, but are elongated in shape to ensure they hang well and catch the light beautifully. The graduation of colour, from the blue topaz to the white diamonds in the centre of the outer petals, is emphasized by the London blue topaz set in the ball of petals in the centre, and by the creamy colour of the 9 carat white gold.
