Barry wanted to get a special gift for Mel's birthday
Mel liked the idea of something that she could wear with jeans and a tee shirt as well as on a night out. She had seen a friend wearing a diamond set cross pendant and liked the idea of something along these lines that would fit in with her modern jewellery style - not too delicate or girly, and a little more industrial in feel. Keeping everything nice and crisp helped to give the design this look, and the satin finish completed it, having the added effect of highlighting the sparkle of the channel set princess cut diamonds. The Venetian box chain that it hangs on echoes the square edges of the pendant and the sparkle of the stones.
