Ian wanted to commission a tsavorite pendant for Beryl
Ian commissioned this stunning pendant for Beryl. Ian and Beryl used to live in Tsavo and so he wanted to use tsavorites in the pendant. He had a good idea in mind for the design but also had help from their son Andy. They already had one 6.5mm x 4.5mm pear cut tsavorite that they wanted to use but we also sourced three new pear cut tsavorites; one 5mm x 4mm and two 6x4mm. As these gemstones are brittle, we wanted to make sure they are protected as much as possible particularly near the pointed end of the pear cut where the stone is most vulnerable, so we have put a V shaped claw around this part of the stones. The pendant has been made in palladium and has a simple style bail and has been highly polished to finish. N/a
