Sue wanted to transform her mum's engagement ring into a pair of diamond earrings

Sue's bespoke earrings have been made by re-using her mother's 18ct yellow gold and platinum engagement ring. The ring has been separated into two with the delicate platinum shoulder detailing creating a really unique pair of earrings. Two of Sue's grandma's 3mm brilliant cut diamonds (totalling 0.22cts) have been all around set into the base of the earrings adding a beautiful sparkle to the design and reflecting the original design of the engagement ring. New platinum screw threaded backs have been added to the earrings and they have been finished to a high shine. Sue commissioned these earrings for a really special occassion and loved the idea that she was able to wear two generations of her family's jewellery on the day.
