Laura's Sterling Silver Opal Earrings
Laura and her mum visited our Hertfordshire studio as Laura wanted to create a pair of earrings using two opals that her mum had been gifted many years ago. The opals were very different than others you may normally see as they were backed with another gemstone. One opal was backed with onyx and the other was backed with agate. After looking through the inspirational images that Laura had brought along with her, we designed these beautiful asymmetric earrings which feature a small hammered, hinged hoop. The opals have been all around set in an organic ripple setting, keeping the backs open so you can see the beautiful agate and onyx from the back view.
