Moira's Surprise Fairtrade White Gold and Green Sapphire Earrings
Laurence and Moria had a really beautiful Art Deco inspired engagement ring designed and made in our Hertfordshire studio. The finished ring suits Moria perfectly and they were thrilled with the result. After commissioning a pair of wedding bands to go with their engagement ring, Laurence got back in touch to ask about creating a pair of earrings as a surprise for Moira’s birthday. He wanted a simple pair of understated earrings and wished for green sapphires to match those in her engagement ring. We took inspiration from the ring and created a few different design ideas before settling on the final Fairtrade 9 carat white gold Art Deco design. Each earring is set with one princess cut green sapphire and a square grain set round diamond to match the setting styles used on the shoulders of Moria’s ring.
