Amygdaloid bassalt and 9 carat white gold pendant
Russell and his wife are very interested in geology and have compared their relationship to this fascinating stone - amygdaloid bassalt. The holes that form as the bassalt hardens are occasionally then filled with another material; similarly this lovely couple each make the other complete. The agate in this particular example has a pretty translucency that contrasts with the black of the bassalt which is most noticeable when light travels across the stone. We have custom cut it into a simple rectangular shape and set it in a hand made all around setting with the chain passing through the back for a really minimal look.
