Sue's Fairtrade gold necklace with ruby, sapphire, spinel and diamond
To celebrate Sue's ruby anniversary she wanted to commission a necklace featuring a selection of gemstones in a cluster formation and of course rubies were an obvious gemstone choice! To achieve the random feel that Sue loved, we used rubies, pink sapphires, garnet and spinel as well as diamonds, in various square and round cuts. The diamonds are set in yellow gold, and the reds and pinks in white to highlight their unique colours. Sue wears a little more yellow gold than white so we opted for a pretty venetian box chain in yellow gold. We even designed her a matching pair of earrings to go with this fabulous necklace, creating a really beautiful set.
