Bespoke Proposals

While we may not be able to guide you on the ‘where’ and create the romantic scene for you. (Although we could probably offer some ideas- favourite place, moonlit walk, rooftop views, Christmas log cabin…)

We are well equipped with guiding couples how to overcome the pressure of an engagement ring. It HAS to be right. You love this person; you want to spend the rest of your life with them. You want this ring to start your next chapter, and do not want to disappoint them. With us you have options:

Rather than just picking a ring, you’re gifting a bespoke experience. Your luxury gift box will include a handwritten card, inviting your partner to their design consultation in any of our four shops and studios.

If you have a design in mind, you can make it more personal and include a presentation sketch. After a discussion, your designer will hand draw your design, with colour, so your partner can see your vision (and tweak it if they prefer).

A whole new level to our proposal gifts is including a gemstone. You may have a colour or particular gemstone in mind, or our designer may help you discover one. In which case, you can buy one from us or our gemmologist can source some for you. Natural diamonds, laboratory grown diamonds, sapphires, tourmaline and more…there’s a world of option. Then, when you’ve picked the exact one you like, it becomes part of your special pack. Thus, when they open their box, there sits a unique delicate sparkle, hand chosen by you. Oozing romance, right?

Regardless of how much you want to include, this proposal box takes away some pressure. And in all honestly, proposing with a ring may be romantic but designing a ring together, including elements that represent both of you? Well, that’s pretty romantic too.

One-of-a-Kind Engagement Rings

That being said, we can’t deny the appeal of proposing with a ring. But being bespoke jewellers, we still want this to be a monumental moment for you. And so, we have a fabulous collection of one-of-a-kind engagement rings, that are available to buy. Each of these has been hand-sketched and made in the same way a bespoke piece would. Our talented jewellery designers start with an inspiration- lace, music, science, Art Deco- and transform it. We pick THE gemstones that would make the design stand out. Much like a bespoke commission, sometimes the stone inspires the design! And then they are made in our North Herts Workshop. This means, even if you choose one of our collection rings, they still have a remarkable, unique story. You can be safe in the knowledge that no-one will have your exact ring. And that’s rather spectacular too!
