She was able to conceptualize my fiancé Ines lifestyle, hobbies, and interests into stunning designs. She was able to help me narrow down to three designs and then eventually we settled on one. I had a telephone consultation with Laurie, and we looked at some designs together. She took the time to find out what appealed to me and made gentle suggestions about other choices, such as the type of metal and the setting. I was looking for a tourmaline that was a really specific shade of green, and Laurie managed to find it, sending me videos so I could see how the colour changed in the light. I was a little worried about ordering something I hope to wear for the rest of my life without seeing it first, but I'm so happy with the finished rings, and with the service provided throughout. I went to Harriet Kelsall for a bespoke engagement ring as part of a surprise proposal earlier this year and I can't speak highly enough about the quality and service I received. Working with Chloe, we achieved a unique and personal design that was then crafted perfectly into a ring which my fiancée adores. Right from the outset, the attention and advice offered by Chloe (and later, Laura, too) was both helpful and thorough. Most communication was done by email and after I'd scrutinised practically every element of the design and composition I was convinced I must've been a bit of a nuisance customer at times - but I was never once made to feel that way, with every email replied to in detail and advice offered on so much more than just the design. Once everything had been decided and produced, the ring arrived beautifully presented and the wooden cylinder ring box really helped keep the proposal a surprise right up until it was opened. The experience was second to none and I can't wait to go back with my fiancée to design our wedding rings."

firefistdjack "One day I decided to melt my old gold into a bespoke unique design, after few days of surfing the internet I bumped into a very thorough article written by Laurie McGrath on melting gold and all the matters related to it. Soon after that I checked Laurie portfolio of all the jewellery she shaped into life. I must say I'm an artist myself and very fussy about details,so it's not easy for me to find something I like, but when I saw the harmony, the details and the colours of her arts I realised that I had finally found the designer who could have materialised my vision into the shape of gold.In less than a week I was able to have an appointment in Halls Green, Hertfordshire where Laurie create dreams. The shop/lab is amazing, built in a very characteristic farm, with a touch of modern, all in a perfect blend that compliment the architecture of it. Laurie has that gentle nature about her that makes u so relaxed and welcomed, literally you feel as if you are in a Spa where all you have to do is express your wish and close your eyes. Her expertise are second to none, I have had made a pendant and an earring, the shape and the size came out exactly as it was drawn, very impressed by the accuracy in the details and the invisible soldering almost as the designs were made of one single piece of gold. The patience and the courtesy she has had in answering my several phone calls and emails is impressive, a very unique lady. A massive Thanks goes to the Goldsmiths and to Laura the sweet assistance who helped me in few choices and a Super massive Thanks goes to you Laurie McGrath, the angel designer of Halls Green, it was a pleasure to have met you, surely I will get in touch for another dream coming true project.."

The attention to detail was absolute, no request was too small and no question was too silly. Plus the continuous supply of tea during our consultations was a bonus! During the initial consultation I explained to Francesca what I had in mind, my engagement ring was designed by Chloe of HK Bespoke Jewellery and was inspired by coral so the band is far from standard and the flow of the ring meant that the wedding band had to be bespoke in order to achieve the perfect fit. What I now have is an engagement ring and wedding band that compliment and fit each other so well that when worn together they merge together to form one magical ring.
